Our sweet baby James was born on September 30 at 1:26 am weighing in at 7 lbs 1 ounce and 20" tall. We are so in love with this beautiful little boy. Here's some pictures from the hospital. For now, we are learning and loving on this little peanut. More to come. Praise God.

Thankful and Blessed
A lot has changed around the Miller household lately...we are expecting our little miracle October 3! I feel like this pregnancy is moving slowly and going by way too fast at the same time. I really wanted to track and write down everything once I got pregnant, however, I have done a really bad job at that! I think I've wanted this to happen for so long, that I was worried about writing anything down. It sounds weird, but it's true. I've been weird about looking for baby clothes, baby stuff, etc until now (AT 21 WEEKS!). Deep down, I think I was doubting God and His plan. I was worried. Worry = not trusting God's plan. I've just started to realize this and thus have given it all to Him. It's ok to be start planning the nursery, determine a name, and start imagining our life as a family.
So, back to the pregnancy! We found out over 4 weeks ago that we are having a BOY! As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I knew it was a boy. I've also been very lucky that I haven't been very sick. I'm definitely tired, but extremely lucky to have an easy pregnancy so far! As far as cravings, I've definitely been craving more meat and sweets lately. Actually, just more food in general. The baby is perfectly healthy and I'm starting to feel him moving/kicking! It is such an amazing feeling.
More to come...once I figure out how to upload pictures from our new computer :)

Prayers Needed
One of our good friends, Scott McNeer, has been battling cancer for over a year and went into emergency surgery last night. The news is not good, but we trust in His plan. Scott was Justin's boss at Spring Creek Ranch and the McNeers are an amazing family. Please pray for a miracle!

What's On My Mind
It's really sad that's it's been this long since I last blogged, however, I do enjoy reading everyone else's posts!
I've been convicted the past few weeks to start telling our journey, trials & tribulations in an effort to speak my mind and maybe even help someone else who is going through what we have been the past 2 1/2 years.
And so, I've promised myself that I'm going to update. I'm going to journal this amazing journey - and I might just have to go "private". Justin isn't too keen about telling the whole world, but he doesn't quite understand the whole blog world either :)
So, here's what what's on my mind. GETTING PREGNANT. We started this crazy roller coaster Aug of 2009 and here we are today - no babies, just dogchildren. Meanwhile, they are EVERYWHERE. I don't think I realized how many pregnant people there are in the world until we started having problems getting pregnant. I go to the grocery - pregger women, I go to the gym - more preggers, etc etc etc. And it's getting worse.
Let me just say...I am absolutely thrilled when I hear one of my friends is pregnant. It does get a bit gut wrenching when it's the second or third (or fourth!). It's a feeling I can't even explain - I feel like I am running a race and everyone is laughing at how slow I am (like seriously, I'm still at the start line). And people are running laps around me. No, seriously, this was one of my dreams lately. IT'S DUMB....I KNOW. But it's reality.
So, I'm going to start blogging about how this year (yes, I'm trying to be positive) is our year. And, if it's not...it's ok. And I promise I'm not going to give weird details (who really wants to know that stuff anyways), but if you want to keep up or are interested in what happens PLEASE ask to view or read.
"Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

It's been a while...
So it's been a bit busy around the Miller household & nature has definitely made me stop the past week and slow down! The snow days this week have allowed me to get some work done, watch a lot of LOST (oh wow, how do I love this show!), look at blogs, and organize my house!
So, speaking of blogs, what are your favorite blogs/websites? I've been loving decorating and cooking blogs lately.
Over the past year, the Lord has definitely been teaching me a lot! This verse spoke to me a few weeks ago and I still can't get it out of my head. I love it.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
And speaking of the future, pups will be in our future. My sweet girl is preggers! This is going to be a lot of work, but I love little pups. I just hope we can sell all of them! The dad is a black lab, so they could be yellow/chocolate/black. They should be here in 3-4 weeks!

A Taste of Miami
This week I travelled to Miami! Got to enjoy a pina colada on South Beach and even saw MTV filming "Jersey Shore" [it was seriously hilarious what they were doing]. Even though I've never seen an episode, I'm going to have to watch it this season to see if I made it in the background.
Please excuse the frizzy hair, the humidity in Miami is terribleIn my training class, a sales rep brought in "Cuban crack" or awesome Cuban coffee. This is how Cubans drink coffee...seriously. It is amazing. I had more energy than I knew what to do with. If you ever go to Miami, try the Cuban coffee. INCREDIBLE.
I am so ready to be home & hang with the hubs to enjoy his day of birth.
Hope everyone's having a great week!
