I have been travelling for 4 straight weeks now and boy has it been exhausting. I am really enjoying my work and it is definitely better than sitting in a cube all day, however, living out of a suitcase can be a drag. So far I have been to Dallas, Phoenix, Hershey PA, and Hartford CT.
The highlight so far has definitely been riding on the corporate jet to Phoenix. BELIEVE ME, this is the way to travel. No security, no waiting to board, no gates, nadda. Literally, you pull up to the jet and hop in. And, when you land its the same. I felt like I was in a movie...or is it the mafia?...as there was a black Escalade awaiting our arrival.
While in Phoenix, I also got to play golf with all the VP's as well in Scottsdale. That was definitely the best part of the trip. And yes, I did take their money...
I have even gotten to see some friends in Dallas and Hartford! Always great to catch up with friends I don't see often.
I am headed to Harrison, AR this week! We will definitely have to find something fun to do for the birthday week. I don't think I am prepared quite yet to say I am 2...7....actually 27. Y.U.C.K. That sounds kinda old and way closer to 30 than I want to be.

you're back (in blogland anyway)
I miss you!
I definitely agree, private jets are the way to go. I haven't done it much, but when I have, it's always hard to go back to the cattle cars. Also, we're doing 27 together! so it's going to be okay!
Travel is the only context in which some people ever look around. If we spent half the energy looking at our own neighborhoods, we'd probably learn twice as much.
